The initial deployment will focus on major urban centers, beginning with Delhi and Mumbai, followed by other metropolitan areas and key cities within these circles & we all know that and it won't be any surprise that they may delay this but did you know that there is already LIVE 5G sites across these Circles that can actually be use for 5G purposes. VI did this to complete it's minimum rollout obligation so this is not how their 5G Services gonna look like you can look up to it as a test.

Vi has acquired 5G spectrum in the 3,300 MHz and 26 GHz bands across its 17 priority circles, enabling the company to offer high-speed internet services to its users. The telecom operator aims to expand its 4G coverage to reach 90% of India's population by June 2025, up from the current 77%, to provide a robust network experience alongside its 5G rollout.
Moreover, Vi also recently said that late deployment of 5G played in their favours as vendors are ready to do it in cheap price as what they took from Jio & Airtel for rollout. So, It will be cheaper for Vi to rollout it's 5G services which will in turn bring good deals for Vi Users with cheap 5G Plan
It's important to note that Vi's existing SIM cards are 5G-ready, so users do not need to change their SIMs to access the new network. However, a 5G-capable device is necessary to utilize 5G services.
Let me remind you once again, this could be merely test or their obligations to fulfil spectrum criteria so don't judge them now based on these data, the actual rollout will begin after March 2025.
